Our Mission :
To provide visionary leadership and to develop partnerships to promote the dignity and independence of our elderly seniors by providing nutritious meals and quality services.

 Wise County Committee on Aging, Inc., Meals on Wheels, is a non-profit 501-(C)(3) group which provides hot, nourishing meals to 125+ senior citizens who are unable to prepare meals for themselves or who do not have others to do so for them. More Seniors are being added to the program every month as the amount of Seniors with needs grow daily. The daily contact with our VOLUNTEERS, as well as the nutritious meals, allow frail, homebound seniors to remain in their own homes where they can maintain their independence. For some of the clients, the daily well-check and the love and concern shared by our VOLUNTEERS is the only contact they have with the rest of the world.

We provide health and nutritional information through our monthly newsletter, and we assist them with referrals for any other services they may need. By providing them a copy of the local newspaper, our group helps keep them connected to the rest of the community in which they live..

WISE COUNTY TITLE COMPANY is the oldest business in Wise County and has been providing efficient, professional, and friendly service for over 140 years.  Established as Wise County Abstract Company in 1878, the name was changed in 1987 to Wise County Title Company to better reflect the broader scope of products and services available.

The current ownership recognizes the responsibility of managing a business with more than a century of serving the community.  The historical legacy of the company is something we take a lot of pride in and recognize that the service we provide is intrinsically valuable. That pride in service is something passed on by former owners and continues to drive us to expand and grow.

The management and employees share more than 300 years of title-company and real estate experience.  President Ken R. Dodson of Decatur has been in the industry since 1982 and with WISE COUNTY TITLE COMPANY since 1988. Ken currently serves as Examiner and Escrow Officer. Vice President Vicki Conquest Niblett of Decatur has worked in the industry since 1985. Vicki has been with WISE COUNTY TITLE COMPANY since January of 1992 and currently serves as Policy Production Supervisor and Escrow Officer. Vice President Debbie Remmele Leatherman of Paradise has been in the title industry since 1976 and has been with WISE COUNTY TITLE COMPANY since 1999. She currently serves as Closer and Escrow Officer.  H. Berry White, IV of Runaway Bay has been with WISE COUNTY TITLE COMPANY since 2012 bringing with him over thirty years of real estate experience including sales, management, development, and real estate law.
